  2. I think sports are stupid. They give kids the wrong idea of life. We should just have a good time. It shouldn't matter what you do. Sports will get to your head and make you a compative jerk

I think sports are a good way for kids to stay healthy and active. Athletes are always in better shape than kids that aren't athletes. Health helps you throughout life, you will look better and feel better about yourself. Also, even though winning is more rewarding, losing is a part of life. For example, if you are not chosen to be the higher rank in your job. Even if you lose, life goes on. There has never been a person that has become depressed and completely taken over by a 12-year old baseball game. Ther should be a steady balance of competition and recreation for young athletes. This is why I believe kid athletes are not pushed too hard.

  4. I do think that kids get pushed too hard in sports.Being a soccer player, I've seen little kids being pushed too hard physically at fitness at a really early age. Some good things come from not getting pushed too hard in sports like eating heathy and being heathy, scolarships, friendship, sportsmanship. But from being trained too hard you can experiance emotional stress, bad attitudes, and educational problems. So I do think that kids are getting pressured and pushed too hard in sports. But it's really up to the kid if he or she wants to be dedicated.

  5. I think sports are very important to all children they help keep you heathy and active. You don't have to be competitive you just have to have fun. It doesn't matter if you win or lose your coach will help you get better he or she will push you a little bit harder every time. Every time they push you a little bit harder you will get better and better at that sport. This is why I think kids are not pushed to hard in sports.

  6. Yes some kids are pushed too hard either by their parents or themsleves. If you want to become a professional athlete, you need to push yourself, but you do have to remember to have fun while playing your sport. You also have to remember there are other important things in life. When you get older, you may not always be able to play, so you need to learn other things besides sports.

  7. I think if you push a child to hard to play a sport he might become uninterested in it and eventually grow to dislike it. Sports are a good source of exercise and can be fun when you aren't forced to play them. From Vincent F.

  8. I do not think kids get pushed too hard in sports. In fact, I think sports are good for kids. I play hockey and it has taught me about team work and discipline and it is something that I enjoy very much. Sometimes I get annoyed if I don't feel like I did good enough, but it just makes me want to work harder and become a better player.

  9. I don't think sports are good for children. They cause too many fights and problems about winning, loosing, etc,and they also put way to much pressure on kids. Although sports are good to maintain health and fitness, and if kids enjoy playing a sport that's fine, children should be themselves and do what activities pleases them.
