  1. Mrs. Marrone, I was unable to log into glogster last night so I thought I would just post a comment on your blog instead of doing nothing. If it is alright with you I would like to try to put this on a glog during recess today. Thank you. The speech I chose was the "Women's Rights Are Human Rights Famous Speech" by Hialry Clinton. I feel that the purpose of the speech was to attempt to get women to have the same rights as men. The tone of the speech was somewhat strong as Hilary proved that women make a great difference in this world. The style of the speech probably made the intended audience, the U.S. Government, think to themselves "Hey, she's right! Women can benefit the world! Why should we prevent them from doing what we can do?" This speech reminded me of Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech "I have a dream" only it was for women's rights and delivered by Hilary Clinton. It's repitition telling the problems of men abusing their rights towards women made me think that all men were trash back then. Women's Rights Are Human Rights Famous Speech was delivered on September 5, 1995 in Bejing, China by Hillary Clinton. Since this is a blog comment, I'm unable to post a picture, but I am able to post a picture source. I found a picture of Hillary during her speech at the following website: http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/hillaryclintonbeijingspeech.htm .
